Jim has over twenty years experience in the field of design and management of recreation facilities and programs. For 15 years,
he served as General Manager for various athletic and recreational facilities in Canada. Jim has also served for several years as a Management Consultant specializing in marketing, facility design and development, operations management, program planning and financial management for the recreation industry in both Canada and the United States.

Kelly brings a wealth of ice programming and sales and marketing experience to the Firland team. Earning her business degree in Ottawa, Canada, Kelly worked as a manager for a golf and fitness center in addition to coaching and competing at a high level in figure skating. The Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League employed Kelly in customer service and sales positions before she relocated to the U.S. Kelly was then employed in Dale City, Virginia at a twin sheet ice facility. As General Manager and Sales & Marketing Manager, she played an integral role in developing the figure skating programs.
Kelly specializes in grassroots marketing and sales, a key area for ice rink and recreation operators in the U.S. and Canada.

Mike joins the Firland team with an extensive list of project management experience. He has spent the last five years overseeing large commercial and residential development projects, from staffing, budget management to project planning. He has experience maintaining and operating both ice rinks and golf courses in Canada and the US. He also holds degrees and training in Basic Refrigeration, Landscape Design and Golf Course Maintenance. Mike provides clients with the knowledge and operational standards that are necessary in this highly technical ice and recreation facility industry.

Shawna has over 10 years experience in developing communications and marketing collateral for a wide array of companies in Canada and the US. Her expertise is providing Firland Management and its clients with a professional look that encompasses all areas of communication, from business reports to websites & promotional information.
